Moving/Working/Going Insane

As my mom's best friend Phyllis asked "Has Jackson started kindergarten yet? It’s been a while?" No. He hasn't! I just don't know which end is up right now! HA!

So the past 3 weeks have been a whirlwind of events. I really don't remember all of them--this whole moving this is putting me on an emotional roller coaster, to say the least. On top of all of the moving, I had scheduled TONS of photography stuff (great timing) and a vacation (again, great timing). Let's start from 3 weeks ago...

We sold our house. We packed it all up. We moved it all out on Tuesday of last week. We haven't been back. We close on Friday and hand over the keys. Actually, that's all I can say about it. It's pretty sad for me, knowing that that is the only house that Jackson knows and he won't get to sleep in his room any more...but my mom and grandmother and dad have been a HUGE HUGE HUGE help in all of the moving process. A owe them ALOT--I can't say it enough. Mom and Grandma helped me pack and move boxes all over. Dad and Adam moved all of the big stuff to storage. Yup, that's right. All we own fits TIGHTLY into a 10/30 storage unit. We got really creative in making it all fit! Grandma Netty got a few shots of us in the moving process...with Jackson helping the entire time! We even took time to race the carts and play bumper carts!

We have been officially living with GG Jane since about last Sunday, I think. The weeks are running together now. It's been a blessing living with family b/c honestly, with all that is going on, Jackson has gotten lost in the shuffle, and I'm so lucky to have a few pairs of eyes to make sure he eats/drinks/gets changed and bathed....good Lord. I'm ready to buy another home and be done. On that note, we've made a few offers, to no avail. Who says the housing market is down? They are full of shit! Maybe in California but not in our area! We made an offer tonight, and this one might stick, who knows.

On top of all of the moving, I had a FULL week of shooting seniors at a local high school. It was a blast, although it was alot of work and a lot of time away from Jack Jack--it truly sucked being away from him. To see all of the work:
