Updates coming! I SWEAR!!

We've been in Kansas for a week now--and I had TONS to update on even before we left! YIKES! I just haven't had a moment to sit down and process all of the pictures yet! Here's what's the come:

Halloween Sneak Peek

This weekend was jam-packed! I have so much to update everyone on, I just haven't had a ton of time to sit at the computer..case in point, it's 12:30am right now. Yes, most normal mommies are in bed right now, sleeping soundly, passing time until their little ones rise at 7:00am....EERRRR! Wrong!! Not in my case! I function like a vampire...seriously, I've got to work on it in 2009. But until then, I have 2.5 more months to practice!

Today, I got some shots of Jackson. Finally. I haven't even had the time to take the camera out of the back of the car lately, so my poor child might wonder years from now why there were no pictures from September 28th-October 12th...let's hope he's not that detail oriented though!

If you are a blog follower (stalker), you know that Jackson LOVES fishing! Here lately, it's all he talks about and wants to do (other than bowling--but that's an idea for next year, huh!! HA! Jackson as Kingpin!!) So I had gotten online in August to find a costume--and there it was!! BUT, it was not going to be shipped until September 30th...but I pre-ordered it, paid for it, and waited like Christmas for it to show up on the front porch!

Here he is: my future little fisherman....only in Texas would I allow a child of mine to be a fisherman...I never would have dreamed my child would turn out this way, but I LOVE and ADORE his cute little redneck hynie!! Check out the waders!! It's the best part!

'stros Game with the Girls + Jackson

So we had a girls night out + Jackson last Friday! Elizabeth, Mommy, Rachel, and Rusti all took Jackson to see the Astros in a great game against the Braves. Jackson loves the Astros--loves baseball games in general (okay, pretty much just the pro games) and at the end of the game, we got to see some KeeBooms!! Jackson was nervous and excited about the Keebooms! He liked them, but they were so close I think it scared him a little bit! His favs "I yike de Orwange Keebooms! I yike de Orwange Keebooms!" He repeated himself over and over, to no one, like Rain Man! Seriously!

My battery on my little camera went dead right when we got there, so Elizabeth sent me some pics of all of us from the game!

Mommy's Night Out (with Daddy!)

My best friend from high school has been living down here in Conroe for about a year. We've only gotten together 3 times in that year! Well, he and his girlfriend are moving--tomorrow! All the way to Baltimore!

So, we decided to meet up with them in Houston after the Astro's game for some drinks--and it was so nice to see everyone and catch up! Rachel and Elizabeth came along too, so we had a great time! Adam had been fishing ALL DAY with Jeff and Jackson, so he's a little pink in the face from all the sun! It was nice to get out and "party", since it doesn't get to happen that often!!
